Amelia joins the guys from Portugal The Simple Life to discuss amongst other things, how Portugal has surprised Amelia with food, safety, people and timeless quality. They, obviously, couldn’t avoid the subject of wine, what is a wine that sings and how Portugal has so many of those.

Guess who is doing a wine, literature and opera tasting for the opening night of Opera Holland Park’s ‘Little Women’?!

This Friday I will be combining three of my favourite things (wine, books and music) for the UK premiere of Little Women! Teaming up with the awesome independent @wanderlustwine I will be pairing American wine to the main characters and themes which are explored in this American classic.

Thank you Jancis Robinson for suggesting me and my love of American wine. This was also one of my favourite books growing up and it is such a privilege getting to work with such an amazing opera festival.

We're starting to feel the party-celebratory feels both here and in the US and on Sunday I will be gearing up for the season in style with a transatlantic IG Live with the Queen of Bubbles Julia Coney! Just in time to get everyone in the festive mood.


We will be looking at an array of different Cava which we think are especially suited for Thanksgiving / Christmas on Sunday 21st November at 5 p.m. UK, 11 a.m. Central.

I couldn't think of a better way to wrap up my trip than by having a glass or several, with Wine Enthusiast's 2020 Social Visionary Award Winner - Julia Coney - a force of good for the wine world and beyond, she is ALSO such fun! Her weekly IG lives always focus on Sparkling Wine and this week won't be any different.

A place which is particularly special to me as that is where my family migrated to, 6 GENERATIONS AGO!!!
